never was a big fan of black roofs, however thinking about a black stripe on the left 1/3 of the car. But I guess I'll just leave it as it is for now :-)

True the way your car looks I would do the same. I'm trying to see people who have vinyl wraps on the roof to see how it looks with the same mods like yours. I have another question. Do you have the Rear Diffuser installed on your car?

Not sure what you mean with diffuser. The Toyota Kit comes with a little Rear bumper addition in the middle, but I would not really call it a diffuser, as its rather optical than functional I guess

Not much changed since the last update. Basically, Wingo only got his windows tinted, thats about all that happened.
However, it starts to finally get warmer over here, and the mountain roads are accessible again (they are closed over winter due to massive snow) Well, I took Wingo for a quick spin over one of the "smaller" Mountain roads after work today, as the bigger ones are still closed. The whole tour only took me about 4 hours, but had to hurry back home because weather got quiet nasty (you see some clouds already forming on the pictures) Anyway, made some pictures for you guys, hope you enjoy the scenery as I did. I downsized and compressed the pictures so it wont take forever to load them :-) Hope quality is still good enough

Not intentionally at least :-) I used the "auto" function on the cam as I only took some snapshots today. Had to hurry because weather got bad and had to move out of the mountain area before the weather hits me.
Thank you. Feel free to reuse the pictures aslong as you respect the source/copyright (basically not watermarking them so ppl think it has been done by you etc)

you need a polarizer especially shooting against the sky background. It will give you a better result with better color.

A polarizing filter will not adjust the color temperature, like in the examples above. That example is IMHO doctored and not realistic.
The effect is mostly seen as darker, more vivid sky, and it will also reduce reflections in glass etc. You don't NEED a polarizing filter, but get one to play with if you're a gadget freak like me :-) (I have 2.... ;-) |
