What is present in those tests - "winter performance" tires, which I don't dispute at being better. Please stop comparing "mild euro-winter tires" with all-out studless ice&snow. The latter will be worse in dry/wet than Primacy HP at temps around single-digit C/high-30s F.

Lol, at your attempt to pull some kind of rank.

I tough earlier you were talking about winter tires in general. I obviously skipped the I&S part (even tough I quoted it) We seem to agree on that part. Totally my fault for mixing up! I was talking about winter tires just in general and tough you were too.

I linked to two tests. The second one was only to see a comparison with winter vs summer tires. I just did a quick google search to find it. (I tough you claimed winter tires in general sucked compared to summer tires on wet conditions. I got your post wrong. Again my mistake.)

The first test had these tires:

Nokian Hakkapeliitta R - 7,5 poeng
Continental ContiViking Contact 5 - 7,5 poeng
Dunlop SP Ice Sport - 7,4 poeng
Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice - 7,4 poeng
Michelin X-Ice XI3 - 7,3 poeng
Vredestein Nordtrac 2 - 7,3 poeng
Pirelli Icecontrol Winter - 7,1 poeng
Bridgestone Blizzak WS70 - 6,9 poeng
Cordiant Winter Drive - 6,4 poeng
Continental Conti Ice Contact - 8,5 poeng
Goodyear Ultra Grip Ice Arctic - 8,5 poeng
Nokian Hakkapeliitta 7 - 8,5 poeng
Dunlop Ice Touch - 8,2 poeng
Michelin X-Ice North XIN2 - 8,2 poeng
Bridgestone Noranza 2 Evo - 8,1 poeng
Pirelli Winter Carving Edge - 8,0 poeng
Gislaved Nord Frost 5 - 7,8 poeng
Sava Eskimo Stud - 7,7 poeng
Vredestein Arctrac - 7,7 poeng
Agi Sarek 2 - 7,0 poeng
Nankang NK Snow SW-7 - 6,9 poeng

None of them are I&S? What are ice and snow tires than?
That test does not compare winter vs summer tires. But I just wanted to share if people wanted to see a well made and fresh test of proper winter tires.

How do people manage the logistics of two sets of tires, especially for people living in apartments? Where do you store the ones you're not using? Do most people have two sets of complete wheels/tires or just the tires?

(Where I live, temps are 90% >40F and next to never much below 28-30F, so people around here use the same tires year round.)

Luckily I rent a flat of a house and am able to store my spare tire/wheel combo in the basement. =) I will be getting my Michelin XI2's installed tomorrow in preparation for winter. It has been on average about 45-50 here the last few weeks with night time temps dropping into the 20's-30's with one small dusting of snow thus far...

Manual transmission, tires at 45psi, using 6th gear when the engine has minimal loads on it, always in neutral when not going 100.
