The 45-60 day wait is what scares me away at the moment.

I don't have them yet, as mentioned turn around time is 45 - 60 days. Not a big deal to me, guys have paid more money for tunes & cables going back a couple of months and some are still waiting for them ![]() Shipping is brutal, around $150, I'm in Canada. So around $500US total which is still not bad compared to some of the the other alternatives that were shown at SEMA

I doubt it would help with shipping costs. I emailed them and they said the rate was due to size and that they would need to package the tails in one larger box for protection during shipment. If you think about it, $500US is still not too bad concidering the higher pricing for uglier alternatives shown at SEMA

I hear you about ordering tunes and cables, but I met the vendor eye to eye and my car was used to develop an initial tune. Not to mention the delay for hard product was unforeseen at the time.
Generally speaking, with PayPal you have (I think) a 45 day time window to settle a dispute. I didn't go that far with JapanParts to see the method of payment accepted. This is speculation but I think trying to settle ANY dispute would have a better chance of getting resolved at least within the same continent.. |

Yeah my 45 day time window expired before I got my cable and tune, but the vendor still came through in the end thankfully ![]() But it was still nerve racking knowing you didn't have leg to stand on if things took a turn for the worse

Here's a pic I got from a link japanparts.com sent me. Will see if I can find the link as it did have pics with the tails on the car and they were much darker. So I don't know if this is the finished product in this pic because they do differ slightly from the pics at their site. Gives you an idea though...
