Blast from the past. I remember you from my days with the Celica, circa 2000. Good to see you still around doing the overlays.

Car looks sick so far! My favorite color by far on the twins! Nice to see another fellow San Diegan! Hopefully I get to see this beaut in person.

What part of SD are you in? I'm up in Oceanside and got a new job in San Clemente, so all my commuting is some combo of 5 and 76/78. I see a few 86ers out and about and I'll wave, but most don't even notice.

Had to think about that for a sec, but I wasn't on Emerald. I did take College from 78 up to 76 though.

I finished getting my sub/amp hooked up using a 4ch LOC from www.davidnavone.com (just the one amp for now though) and a set of forward/reverse harnesses for the factory amp made by @SVXdc. Both guys are very helpful. Didn't get any pics of the LOC and wiring, but it's all tucked under/around the factory amp. I cut some of the foam for the amp to fit, and cut a channel underneath for the ground (attached to foot of the factory amp bracket). I like that it's all snug, the 250/1 is perfect. Secured with industrial velcro stuff. WILL NEVER MOVE!
![]() ![]() ^That foam-wrapped zip-tied thingy is a fused distribution block. Came up with this in a pinch since I didn't want any rattles. Well, any more than necessary... Also, I finally washed the car since getting the wheels on... ![]() ![]() ![]() Ugh...this just makes me want to lower it a smidge...I keep telling myself I'm not going to spend any more yet. "Work on the Mustang, Matt. Work on the Mustang." But, but...

Side shot of the car!
These wheels look awesome on FD's. I haven't seen them on anyone else's car. |

Installed my horns this weekend. They're Roots Spider horns, nearly identical to Hella Supertones but cheaper and slightly different grille.
