Oh yeah, almost forgot. I installed the Motive Autoworks MC brace recently. Pedal feel is much firmer, I'm liking it. Install would have been easier with smaller fingers, but I've had worse.

If anyone needs another angle, just holler and I'll take some pics when I get a chance. Lots of running around today.

Been a while since I've updated, my computer is down (motherboard caught on fire). But I did get a couple things: bluebatmobile cf eyelids and GrimmSpeed hood struts. I've also got a roll of sound deadener, but haven't gotten around to taking the door panels off again. It's enough of a chore that I just don't want to do it.

Got laid off at the end of the year and still looking for work. But that's given me lots of time to practice with my MIG welder and I'm getting comfortable enough that I should be able to do some rust repair on the Mustang as soon as I get a new panel.

Also, I swapped back to the stock wheels/tires in preparation for some new rubber, but it's been too cold to finish painting my 5zigens and without a job I can't justify the coin yet. Anyone need some shit welded up?

nope, no tune at this point. Gonna ride out the warranty for now. And none ofnmy parts thus far make it necessary. I'll eventually get the full Nameless system, but even that won't require tuning.

Well I've ditched the painting idea. My backyard has too much crap floating around and I just got frustrated. I started a new job and once I get a paycheck, I will be taking the wheels in for powdercoating. I'll probably need to wait for the following paycheck to get tires.

Also waiting on funds for the KB short shifter.

A few days ago, I grabbed a metal hole plug (my Home Depot didn't have nylon) to cover the hole in the passenger footwell for the noise maker. I honestly thought I'd miss the sound, but I like it so much better this way. Just need to measure the hole on the intake so I can plug it there and rip all that crap out of the car. The downside is that I can now hear my shifter rattling slightly. Hopefully the KB replacement will get rid of that.

FINALLY dropped the wheels off for powdercoating. They say it should be less than a week, although I'm not really in a rush. Just glad to have the process started since paint wasn't going the way I'd hoped.

Now taking donations towards the "2.0's Tire Fund" charity...

So like a week or two ago I bought a lil plug to cover the end of the sound generator tube that's in front of the passenger's feet (RE: someone else's thread, forget who). So much nicer not hearing that extra noise. If it's gonna be louder, it better be due to an intake. Since I liked it, this weekend I ripped out the whole thing.

Not sure where this plug came from, but it's something I had sitting in a box in the garage and it just happened to fit perfectly. I left the cap on the interior side as well, just for kicks.

All that tubing was damn ugly anyway.

Did some digging through boxes and found my old gauges, horns and wiring from my last two Subarus. Obviously won't need the boost gauge, and probably not EGT, but Oil Temp & Pressure will be nice. Waiting on some fiberglass supplies, then I plan to try my hand at some kind of gauge pod. We'll see how that goes.

Horns should be easy, the only trouble I'm having is where to put them exactly. I've seen a few pics from others, but I just haven't found a spot yet that really looks right to me. I really need to photoshop it...

I also sorted out all of the wiring for my JL 250/1 and LOC. I'll probably hit up SVXdc for some factory style plugs and make my own breakaway harness for the trunk amp. Once I've got it all working, I'll start on a new sub enclosure (fiberglass).

Just got a call from the powder coating shop, wheels are ready to pick up!

The girl is getting pampered tomorrow. 1st thing in the morning I have an appt for my last free oil change. I'll have them install my Fumoto valve so I don't have to get messy next time. Also getting my bouncy rearview mirror fixed (again) and a new cabin filter.

And theeeeennnn....I'll have a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports waiting for me in the afternoon. It's nice having a buddy at Discount Tire.

Who has two thumbs and is freakin stoked?
