KW v3s, I will have to run a bit more than that to tuck the fronts though. I planned to use the sti group n ones on the front and oem on the rear.

Now that some of you guys have had the chance to drive around on the kws for a while any feedback? Are they worth the price of entry? Hard to set up properly with the separate compression and rebound?

im still playing around with the settings. i used RCE's setting and turn down (softer) the rebound as i have the WL subframe bush inserts. i will turn down the compression by 1 click all round too and see what it does. i want to fix my compression and tune the rebound to suit as compression dial is at the bottom and a little hard to get to.

overall im happy. i like its firm feeling compared to the the Teins which feels a little bouncy at initial compression. it rides really well over small bumps and potholes but a little unsettle over big multiple bumps. thats why i want to soften the compression to see if that helps. it handles like its on rails tho. very little understeer and you can keep cornering speed up (very important as the car lacks torque). steering is quite a bit heavier but changing direction is still nice and quick but the car doesnt feel as light, but i have fitted bigger tyres and wheels so the heavy steering might be due to the tyres.

i'll be fitting sway bars tomorrow and will report back whats changed to the handling.

As promised yesterday, a quick review of the KW setting change and impression for the sway bar.

I turned 1 click softer on compression and the car rides a lot better. I was surprised with the different with 1 click. Also the steering is less heavy with the sways and I recommend fitting sway bars if u have put wider gripper tyres. It feels like stock again!!

This thread is old but I have some if the new whiteline top hats and they are indeed popping. Going to be taking it off tonight to check the bearings. If they are bad may have to give @FA20Club.com a call and see if he can get in touch with whiteline. As my set if from march.
