Look can be subjective.

What makes people think Toyota can pull Supra, the Twin, MR2 ...cant do it right to the IS ?

I am telling you that the new IS is very under appreciated. Go test drive one already

The next better one would be RC and the RC F will be at Detroit show. It will be sick with the v8 in it.

The FRS was a impulse buy. I read so many good reviews so I had to buy an FRS LOL.

Are the rear seats on the new models finally bigger than those in the Twins? Just messing with ya, congrats on the new ride!

I was thinking the opposite. He should put Scion badges on the Lexus and troll everyone.

I can understand the op doing this. Just yesterday I posted my FR-S for sale in our classified section because I had the 'itch'. I spent yesterday test driving the few cars I was considering and just finished emailing our moderators asking that they delete my ad. I was tempted there for a moment but I love the FR-S too much.

The FRS is tough to beat when it comes to mechanical feedback and visceral feel.. Many seem disappointed by the rawness of it all.. But that's what makes the car for me.. Nothing is covered up or masked.. Just road feel and go kart handling with lots of weird noises.. It's all good..

Really? The 86 feels heavy to me, even compared my very limited experience I would never call it go-kart like when even an NC miata is noticeably more sprightly and agile.

I think the only car I've driven that actually feels like a go-kart (and not the rental place kind where none of the tires point the same direction) is an '85 civic, a tin can without power steering, curb weight was under 1,900 lbs.

I had a 95 civic with no PS , crank windows, as basic as it gets.. That was lighter than this car.. But not near as tight or crisp..
Weight is relative.. I hadn't driven the civic in a long time.. And my last few cars have been around 3200lbs .. So this one is plenty lightweight by most real world standards..
Can't fit in and don't care for miatas..

Should a kept the FR-S AND bought the IS. Thats what I would do. Heck, I bought a ballin' xB and then kept it and ordered the FR-S six months later. LOL

Fair play, my memory has me thinking the civic I drove (and miata) were just as 'tight' and 'crisp' as the 86 but with -900 and -300 pounds respectively and it was noticeable.

You're missing out with the miata, how tall are you? 6' 4" seems to be the limit in my experience.

6'3 and long in the torso.. My eyes are level with top of the windshield. My friend has one.. And he had to replace the steering wheel so he could fit in it with his gut..
I've read good things about the car.. But it's not for me..
I had to replace the headliner in my Z06 when I got it for that extra inch there was to be had.. . That car was worth modifying to fit in..
