Those are claimed figures. There is a post somewhere with actual independent dyno tests. If I remember correctly the ECU had to be remapped before it showed any significant gains and the Injen ran pretty lean without out.

Drop-in filter gives you 5hp (+- 3.6kw) more. All after-market ones would be more or less the same.

When I bought my 86,the dealer gave me the TRD filter and TRD oil filter,and to be honest,there is no extra anything ,sounds the same and feels the same.

believe me the extra 3kw is there, its just so little that it would be hard to notice, but your throttle response should be noticeable ????
