Now I want to see some damn dyno's & videos! I would love to throw some $$ to Jesse and Ronnie. Has anyone ordered an UEL that has a supercharger yet?

Its good to see you guys starting to catch up. When I was over at RC's loading up for wekfest I knew you had to have started shipping since i saw you actually smiling for once lol. You guys looked pretty grim for a while there. I'll try and swing by this weekend to say hi if you guys are in.

I'm obviously not worried about it as I know you guys know what your doing but just something that came to mind. Can't wait to get it!!

Not trying to be negative I just think this deserves to be brought up again since it's relevant to the recent collector pics.

Perhaps ft_sjo should use his warranty? Should his header not be considered defective? I understand there is no seal issue with those gaps since the collector is welded and sealed on the outside but what about carbon buildup in those small voids over time? What about the little bits of metal clag getting sheared off over time and caught downstream in the secondary cat? Are those not valid concerns?

Yeah Dyno and Tune however, I don't think those will be done with I get the UEL installed with the JDL Over-pipe and Front-pipe because I am also having springs, Konis, and an alignment/corner balance done to the car.

Most likely, I will go back for a second appt to have the dyno and tune done after another paycheck or two of rebuilding my bank account.

That collector is far from defective, JDL makes an amazing product.

Maybe if this was a turbo manifold, small bits coming off and going in to a turbo could be a concern. Even then a small burr could also pass without any damage.

Hopefully if I get it in the next 2 weeks, I'll do a dyno with only a drop in filter as a baseline. Slap in the header and tune (rest of exhaust stock), then another dyno for the gains. Appointment scheduled for the 19th so hopefully all goes well.

have you had a tune with just the filter so we can compared OEM+Filter+tune vs JDL goodies with tune?

I know it won't be a real dyno chart, but I have been datalogging for a while now on my Innovate SC and all i had until this week was a catback. I just added a front pipe, but I will have my JDL header monday and installed probably that night lol. So after I due a few tune revisions back and forth I can put the logs in virtual dyno and see the difference it made.

I have WOT pulls from NA too so it will be easy to judge a baseline on it since I always do my pulls in the same spot when datalogging.

I know its a little different because i'm no longer NA, but it should show what power you can expect at least on a SC.

Nope, Im not expecting much from the filter just quicker throttle response. Funds are tight as is due to the furlough but I will see if they have time to compare and how much a third dyno will add.
