Cut the new collector for the UEL this past weekend while working on other products. New mode of transportation is ready to roll so the car is now back apart to build em

IMO JDL could have stolen the market if they would have developed their UEL before the EL. Now it seems like they are playing catch-up to Borla. Borla is currently owning the UEL header market. I am still keen to see how JDL's UEL header turns out because their products do scream quality.

JDL's UEL header looks way higher quality than Borla's.... Not saying Borla's is bad, but I think they rushed that one a bit. The collector on this one is WAY better.

People who buy Borla and those looking at JDL's systems are two very different markets.

Believe me we've see the price of the Borla and interest it has generated. There is no way we can produce something in that range, not possible. I know what dealer cost is on the Borla unit and all i can say is that it is about the same as just the raw materials (stainless bends, flanges, pipe for collector, etc) that make up our headers. I'm not sure if the borla is even stainless steel (cant find a description anywhere). Its also hard to compare Tig welded to Mig welded. Tig is alot more time consuming. Like mentioned above it really is 2 different markets. We are a smaller shop and pride ourselves on high quality hardcore parts. Sometimes it can be very hard viewing the forums and seeing other parts coming out, etc, however we do not want to rush ANYTHING, these cars are still very new and interest will continue to grow...we are here for the long run!

I think if your buying borla your looking for some noise.. Jdl is going to be a great product that will last the life of the car and give you great sound and power gains.

This is the whole reason why I support small shops, like Nameless. You can see a huge difference in the products both in quality and the customer service you receive. I'm going to continue to wait till everything is in place for this UEL because I know for a fact it will be better than the Borla.
