Ahh, well that explains it, the directors are all idiots, lol.

And yep back when movies had better quality control.

If I were to guess, I'd say the director asks for that because then the actor can balance the open book in one hand without having to focus on it, and then maybe have the other hand free for something else. Movies generally don't pretend to be 100% realistic. For that we have real life

Ahh but that makes for a bad movie. Maybe I'm party OCD but I notice small things like that, or someones hair being over one shoulder and then not being over it, minute things that are generally overlooked.

If you're looking for a career, you'd be fabulous as Continuity Manager (person in charge of avoiding those small things). Or if you just want to make a hobby of it, you could join a "movie mistakes" community where you'd be one of their top members

I hate it when people are STATUS WHORING and they honestly aren't really informed about the statuses they post. *SMH*

i remember reading about that guy a while back. i think that's awesome, and would love to do that with my girl if/when we get married, but she's got too many cons to go to, and we wouldn't be able to fit all her costumes in the back

I had an uncle who lived the nomad life. Wow, he'd be nearly 100 now...
