Thanks Clint. I should not have wasted my time visiting dealerships yesterday. They just kept telling me how rare the brz was. I was lol.
I could just get FRS instead. However, the scion pure pricing draws me back. I guess I will get my car from CO instead.

I just hope that my car will be here in pristine condition.

Got a question, will the dealership in CA give you a hard time when something happens to the car? In term of warranty issues.

The dealerships in CA will service your BRZ like any other BRZ purchased within the state. As long as the car is properly registered by the CA DMV, and still has warranty time/mileage remaining, you'll be fine.

I know this is a long thread, but you'll want to read all the pages as people have made a number of corrections to the process. (ie, CO state fees are not required by Heuberger, and as I mentioned before AAA will only assist with used cars out of state, NOT new cars.

Correct, AAA cannot process this for you, you have to go to DMV.

I went to puente hills subaru yesterday. The whole sale was a joke. Someone traded FRS for a BRZ. I was like "lol".

I went to the DMV last Monday after work thinking I will be waiting forever. I got in at 4:30 after the verification process and got my license plate and walked out at 4:50... I was extremely impressed with the DMV...
Heuberger motors makes this process very simple. Just make sure they send you a packet to register the car after you received the car. It took them about 10 days to fed ex my envelop. Smog your car, and bring to DMV!

Oh, and I didn't even make an appointment at the DMV. Just showed up and waited in line... or lack of a line

Dave from Accelerated dropped it off today. Went great and no damage at all, just a little dirt! The whole Clint/Accelerated transaction was perfectly smooth.

That said - GPS, Radio and Side Mirror control were all DOA with just 6 miles on odometer so that sucks. Seems like there's no power to any of em.

Have an appointment next week with Capitol Subaru to take a look. Crossing my fingers this goes well. Service rep not being thrilled about me buying out of state and also asking me if I read the manual first doesn't instill a hell of a lot of confidence.

Screw the service rep, its no different than buying the car at another Subaru dealership. Besides, the VIN will tell them all they need to know..
