I talked to Rich today regarding the SWP that sold. This is what he told me regarding cars on the GB that get flaked on, "those cars will be sold openly at a mark up of $2k over MSRP."

So I am wondering if the SWP car sold at this price or not? Or was he just telling me this because I was upset they didn't move down the list of people that ordered the same on the GB? Rich did ensure that my car would be coming and he would not let any other sales people swoop it. Told me to follow up with him Thursday.

From my understanding they only for 1 SWP limited during Thr first shipment and it's mine. So perhaps you are referring to the one that was met for me.

I was actually referring to the SWP premium MT that arrived Saturday morning. It was purchased by a member of the forum after someone else from the GB flaked.

Either way, I'm anxious for them to get another shipment.

It'll be cool to have a meet after more cars arrive.

my good friend went to irvine Subaru to see if he could see my DGM BRZ and he took this pic for me...looks like there's a DGM and a SWP outside...I know for sure that the DGM is my car...

I just know because it was sitting there on Saturday when I stopped by.

UPDATE: I stopped by South Coast Scion and test drove 1 of the 2 manual cars they have on the lot (silver and ultramarine). Anyway, the car in manual versus automatic is so different! I'm no longer on the fence about purchasing the BRZ once it gets in. =)

FYI those cars had 3k mark ups but you could easily get them to cut that in half.
