I mean....I dislike the new mule headlights. The first pic up top is what I'm hoping the final versions look like. Either way its not bad enough to stop me from buying the car.

LOL, lil OT but how long will it be before there are LFA conversion bodykits for the FT86?

the FT concept's headlights obviously look like the FT-HS, but the production headlights look nothing like the concept's. to me they look more like the LF-A's. ymmv...

Didn't say I did, just commenting on the inevitable.

I agree but it doesn't fit the FT-86 lines. Looks like someone slapped some sort of retarded Hyundai headlights on it...

I will say that the concept lines have been retained on the bumper...but the sharper headlights should have been kept. Seriously, they do it 3 times right and then drop it for production?

I think if you stuck a bunch of swirly tape on any car's headlights it would look ugly. Let's wait until we see the final version to make any judgements...

i dont see why everyone hates the headlights. to me it's still stylish and "sharp" looking. if it comes a little blacked out, it would look great imo. sure the concept's headlights were way cool, but did anyone actually expect it to make production? lets be realistic here.

The headlights were done right on the previous mule, now they just look awful. I never even find the taillights very appealing on any of the mules, so I was hoping at least part of the car would look sharp.

On the other hand, this was a race spec car so it would make sense to strip the extra options in this particular vehicle. I can bet anyone that there is no Bose speaker system in there now either, so all we can do is wait for Tokyo.

Well the car looks 100x better than a Miata, so as long as it is as good or better than one I could care less if the head/tail lights are a little bit ugly.

As long as it doesn't laugh at me when I approach it, I'm fine with that headlight.
It's not as ugly as Hyundai's recent front end, so I don't call it ugly.
