looks great, but i also think it has too much poke... however it might be just the right offset for the aero kit....

Yep I shouldn't have said most states my bad, didn't realise east coast has actual width limits. Contact patch centreline is used to measure track width btw.

So it seems most people light mexican fitment
I am one of the few who doesn't, it would seem.
I am guessing there are no cares given to the extra unsprung weight?

well these mexican fitment wheels are for street.

stock wheels (with upgrade tyres) are for track.

yes i do care about unsprung weight but extra 1-2kg each corner isn't too bad for street application.

It’s not just the actual 1-2kg of extra weight I refer to, it’s the fact that it’s also getting pushed alot further out from the strut, which DOES affect handling.
If you like the look of Mexican fitment (and for those who don’t what I mean by that, it is wheels that stick out past the guards), then that’s fine, but I personally don’t like wheels sticking outside of the bodyline
I just think it looks untidy and bad.

lol personally i can't be bothered with the trouble for making crazy size wheels to fit the factory guard but i can understand why there are people who do this. there will always be people who consider form > function.

my spec kinda just filled out the guards and doesn't need stupid camber so I'm happy with my choice. a little extra unsprung weight yes but as i said these are street wheels.

Meh, as I said man, some people will like the look of wheels hanging out pas the guard. If you do, that's fine. In my own opinion, it ruins the look of the car. You may not like the fitment/style of the wheels I will put on mine, and that's fine.
Another thing to keep in mind with mexican fitment is that it is illegal. Just something to be wary of.
Yours aren't quite as bad as this dudes being the +38, but the fronts will still probably poke out a bit.
And it isn't crazy or difficult to get different sizing either, FYI. Work wheels will do any of the size/offset combos they may in 5x100 for a small extra charge

looks to be the same spec as mine and i don't see the fronts poking out. the rear is slightly but the lower control arm will probably fix that.

ps. hot car Kov lol

@Nardi330 How come this became about your car anyway? My original comment was in repsonse to a topic with more aggressive wheels tham yours?
If your fronts are 8.5's then they are same as the above picture, but I was referring to 9.5 +30 initially, and as your didn't specify that yours were 8.5 up front, I assumed they were 9.5as well.

I have never tried to deny that unspring weight affects handling?
I also was never getting 9.5in low offset wheels
