Heh, sorry I should have known you consider the NC the only MX-5, they're all technically "MX-5" but Mazda stopped calling them Miata with the NC. I like the NC better myself, even though it's the slowest and ugliest of the three.

I hate racing with AWD, FWD not so much, so if we can lets just keep it RWD.

If we did do NC MX-5, do you think it would be more or less competitive if we did stock?

I would say that overall it might be less competitive. A stock car means we will loose all the grip and handling advantages from the performance parts. While the NC Miata is a great handling car in both real life and Forza, I think it will be easier for the people learning if the car had proper handling parts. Especially at Laguna Seca where the corkscrew is not so forgiving.

If you were to ask me what I would do, I would build an NC Miata with racing slicks, full race weight reduction, add both front and rear wings (for adjustabilty reasons mainly), side skirts (if applicable, can't remember), rims, then power mods to bump it to C 425.

From there it should be left up to the people to improve their own skills and times by learning the track and improving the car. Those who put effort in should be rewarded. I also don't mind trying to help people get better myself. If anyone needs help, I will try my best to help them.

EDIT: I guess I should also say, Laguna Seca isn't exactly the easiest track to learn on. We used to take beginners to Tsukuba with NB Miata's in Forza 2 until they could run within a half second of our times. Tsukuba is more forgiving and teaches you how to drive.

Possibility of the FR-S being added to Forza 4 today when the August DLC pack is announced!

There is a "clues" thread going on the Forzamotorsport forums, there was a clue for a car that said "Fred loves the Red Sox..." (Fred...Red Sox), and some of the people who guessed FR-S got a prize, although they were also giving prizes to incorrect answers to keep up some confusion.
