Their are a bunch of similar cars in the game I don't see why not. This game is international and most people don't know what a Scion is

Well, I just don't think they'd waste their time releasing another car pack with a "twin" per-say. Also I think these car packs are dying down with the release of Horizon right around the corner. Even though we'd love all three of them, I don't think it's practical for them to release as DLC.

But only time will tell!

I need to figure out how to get my xbox to connect to live. Work has me staying at a hotel and I only have one more option to try.... I can't get the car packs and some games are missing half the stuff.

Bridge your laptop's wifi to your Xbox. That's how I do it

I connected to internet (wirelessly) via my laptop and then created an ad-hoc network.

Then tried connecting xbox via wireless to the laptop... it connects to the laptop, but then internet connection won't go through.


I need to get an ethernet cable and options are:
1) Connecting the laptop to the wall with xbox wirelessly to laptop
2) Connect laptop wirelessly and connect xbox to laptop with cable

FYI - Most of the time when you run this kind of setup, you end up with a restricted NAT and can bump into conflict issues with other players.

I've seen it happen one too many times already. Try and avoid this setup if possible. It seems to get restricted when the Xbox passes through the PC to get to the internet.

Guys, if you have not seen the thread I posted about making a Spec Series, please check it out! I'm hoping to combine 2 groups of players into 1 giant racing series.

So far it looks like we will get a big turn out.

Hmm.... This seems like the only option I have, though. Need to speak with the hotel, but I doubt anyone will really know what to do. There are 2 younger guys that work the front desk every now and then. I could try asking them the next time I see them.

Ah you have the newer Xbox?

Well this is the setup I have for the non wireless

ON THE LAPTOP

Ethernet cable from Xbox to Laptop. Laptop is on my house's wifi, then select bridge mode (select both connections by right clicking and selecting bridge) the new connection. Give it a sec

ON THE XBOX

Select test connection on Xbox as WIRED and test. It should work now

Actually I have a first gen that red ringed and got sent in for warranty ... I got one of the wireless adapters for it from a friend for cheap when it stopped working, he bought another one, then ended up figuring out how to fix the original. lol

But yeah, I was going to try what you did, next. Going to see if one of the more youthful hotel employees is around after work, and if not, I'm going to find an ethernet cable.
