I'm so very sorry to hear you are having this experience. Don't back down, and don't accept what is being offered. Call the manager back and use words like: "your proposed solution is not acceptable" and "I am not satisfied with what you are offering". Tell him you are documenting all of the communications regarding this issue. (And while it is all fresh in your mind, write all this down and save so that you can provide in a formal complaint...including time you dropped off car....who worked on it...date/times for each communication with the manager, and of course pictures of the damage). Tell him you are considering filing a complaint with NTB at the corporate level and also considering filling a complaint with BBB. Be polite, but firm.
If after all that, he is still being a douche, inform him that you are taking it to the next level and are very unhappy with how this has turned out. Hang up...find corporate number for NTB and call them up and lay it all out.

At this point, I would be asking for replacement of the wheels on their dime.

Please keep us posted on how this goes and good luck.

EDIT: just pulled this off of my google search:

http://www.ntb.com/tires/Contact-Us-NTB.j

There's a link for email and phone number; I would advise doing both (email creates a written documentation).

Not trying to be a **** because I'd be passed if I found these but seems like a black sharpie would cover those up nicely lol

Yea that's exactly what the Store Manager said to me when he suggested spray painting them black. Maybe you should work there too!! Seems like you're just as qualified as they are

Now now no need to get hostile. Gotta remember these rims are only 200 a pop shipped lol gonna cost more to have them professionally repaired than it would to just buy new ones.

They were cheaper than that lol which is boggling my mind why they don't want to just replace them. But again, they are the wheels I wanted and expected to get them back the same way I brought them in.

Hey everyone, ive looked for quite awhile looking thru this thread. So im wanting to buy xxr 530s 18x8.75 all the way around and having issues with picking +20 or +35. Dealer is suggesting +20 for the rub issues and i dont have a lowered car...yet. I will be lowering sometime in the next few months on yellowspeed coilovers. Just looking for suggestions and insight, i drive an asphalt FRS and was thinking the matte black for the rim??? Yay or nay? What you guys think?? Thanks, also will prolly be getting like a 225/40 tire

I'd go for the +35 as the +20 will poke out alot. I run 18"x8.75" +35 with 245/35/18 all around, with no rubbing. Neither on stock suspension, nor with springs mounted.
Check out those pictures, shows the setup with stock suspension. You will notice that it pokes already a bit. The +20 offset will poke another 15mm more
