this looks very nice as well. have any issues with rubbing? that's about as big as you can go on the front without having to use a spacer right?
Wheel size yes, Tires you can also mount 245/35/18 with no rubbing (on Stock, springs or coilovers)

I did NOT have such great luck getting my tires/wheels installed! I went to NTB because they stay open longer than the rest. Totally regret that decision. They let the NEW GIRL do all the work on my car. I'm a female so I'd be okay with that...IF she knew what she was doing. Which she didn't and didn't bother asking for help! She scratched every single wheel on the inside. Left little snake bite marks a few times on each wheel. So I assume they thought I wouldn't notice and figured it'd be okay to give it back to me like that. So after giving an ear beating to the manager for being a douche he offered to "get them fixed". I just want to make sure I'm not going to be butt raped anymore. So my question to you folks is - If they are flat black xxr527's how will he go about getting them fixed/painted? What exactly does he need to do?

My setup is:
255/35/18
XXR 527 18x8.75 +35 in Flat Black

I would suggest to get a quote form a wheel repair shop and give it to the manager for reimbursement. Although I don't think flat black would be that hard to color match and fix.

Got pics of the damage?

That sucks :-( depending on the damage (pictures?) I would take the wheels to a shop that has a good reputation in fixing wheels up, get a quote and let the Tire shop guys pay you that amount. Then you can decide yourself if you want to get it fixed or keep the money.

Worst case, If the tireshop is like they are in my area, they would just put some plastidip on the wheel and call it fixed :-) Being flat black it may even look good. However you may still do this yourself and keep the money from the tire shop:-)

Mh, wondering what equipment they use to make marks like that... Anways, since its the inside and on the Inner part of the wheel at least its not that visible. So at least some luck in a crappy situation.
I think if you just want it to be less noticable, you really could go for some plastidip to fill the wholes/match the color. You should not be able to see it after that, especially since its on the inside of the wheel. (thats the cheap solution)
A wheel shop will probably either tell you to do it the cheap way yourself, or will charge you something around 50-150$ a wheel to fix it professinally. (not sure if the prices in US are cheaper on this however)

And... to quote multiple post just click on the Icon with the " next to the quote button (it will turn red), and after you've choosen all posts you want to quote click on the quote button (doesnt matter on what post) and it will add all the posts you selected

Thanks for the directions!

I was considering asking them to replaces the wheels. I don't want plasti-dip on them and I don't get to pick who fixes them..he has a "guy". so this whole situation has me nervous! Each wheels was $124...so maybe they'll get me new ones. I want them looking the same way I brought them to them...which means brand new! I'm gunna have to lay down the law and get feisty lol

I'll ask them for a brand new replacement, as the cost of the fix would be colors to the brand new wheels . That way you can keep your wheels first and take the new one once they're arrive .

Or in the mean time, you can ask them to take off the tires off the wheels, once the you get the new one , go to another tire shop to mount the tires.

I always use my local discount tires to mount my tires, made a couple friends and already tell them to handle my wheels like their babies .

Things like that are one of the most frustrating things, and the reason why I only go to shops I know and have a good reputation, even if I have to take a day off from work to be able to visit them.
I'm pretty sure "his guy" has a can of plastidip in his drawer, and thats why he dont want you to choose where to get the wheels fixed or replace them.
One thing you may try if everything else fails, ask him what "discount" he gets from his guy. Check with a local wheel repair shop what they would ask, and see what the price difference is. If it is 300$ to 50$ you can say that his guy cant provide good work for that price - would be hard for him to tell you something else. If its 300$ to 200$ just tell him you take the money (200$) sell your XXR's for 400$, and get yourself new ones.

All does involve work you should not have to do, and which will be a pain in the ass, however still may give you at least a solution you can live with in the end.

Wish you good luck and hope it will be sorted soon.

The manager just called me back. He just told me he would spray paint them. And tire machines will ALWAYS leave marks on the rim when it's a high profile tire/wheel. lol..spray paint them?! he has to be joking! I told him I'd call him back. Idk what to say at this point my brain is clouded with anger

Find a good reputable wheel restoration store in your area , tell them you want to make the wheels look new , get the quote , and then call the tire store again and tell them how much the wheel store would charge you . And tell the tire store is either they pay the restoration fee or get you a new set .

I know how you feel , eventhough the wheels aren't the big bucks one , but still it's your hard earned money and they messed it up . They should do the right thing.
