after a few weeks and also running hard at the track i feel like the exhaust has quieted down significantly. i'm no longer stressing the silencers. i may have just gotten used to it but i really do think it got quieter after "breaking in." i was safe on dB at the track this wknd. FYI

Sissies. I daily mine. I find it nearly silent at part throttle cruising. Sounds good under accel and decel.

Or maybe I just like it loud? I do seem to be at odds with the forum populace with most cars I've owned. Most notably were the elderly on the Cadillac forums in regards to the CTSV and the B&B exhaust. My STi is considerably louder from front to back.

Those on the fence, I would say leap. It's a nicely constructed piece, looks and sounds aggressive. If you want a quiet car, weigh it down with dynamat and completely ruin the point of the car. If you're scared, buy a beater. I bet a Lexus ES300 could be had for cheap.

hey I've been looking into this exhaust for a while, but noticed that the piping is kinda low. have any of you guys had problems with this exhaust scraping while driving around? I plan on keeping the stock ride height.

I installed the Invidia N1 5 days ago. Not any lower than stock and 9lbs lighter too. Call me old but, way too much drone, I installed my silencers after the first hour ride, took me less than 5 min. to install them, I went with the stainless tips, not the Ti. There may be a difference there.

How does adding a few pounds of dynamat ruin the point of the car? I can still hear my stock exhaust just fine. Screeching tires around a corner sounds the same. Adding sound dampening doesn't turn your car into a coffin on wheels...

Are there still no dyno charts or comparisons on this exhaust? I would like to know, because I could swear that it's a pretty good amount judging by the butt dyno.

Even lowered about 1.75 inches, no real problems so far. I even had to drive up a small curb while parking at an airshow... I had to go up diagonally of course and I think I heard something tap, but no scraping. That was absolute worst case scenario, so I don't think it will ever be an issue.

I found there was too much drone as well and ordered the Perrin resonated headerback. My silencers didn't fit and I feel installing silencers may defeat the purpose of installing an aftermarket exhaust - making more power. (Although I'm not sure since no other exhaust that I've purchased with silencers actually needed them, so I never used them.) Did you notice a difference in power with the silencers installed?

Boxer-86,
My seat dyno doesn't notice a difference, I was thinking about drilling 3/8" to 1/2" holes in both silencer plates(offset in reference to each other), I was thinking 5 holes in each plate, kind of custom tune the exhaust, I would have to do a bit of cutting, as I'd like to dimple the outer plate drilled holes for aesthetics. I could always wrap some coarse steel wool between the plates, Lots of options, but I don't want excessive droning.

I love the drone, and the whole sound. My gf complains that it's too loud. WHATEVER.
