Sorry for posting on an old thread, but could anyone that has or has had the exhaust answer a question of mine? I couldn't really find information through searching with other members' results.

Does the exhaust drone when every other part of the car is stock aside from the catback? If it drones, does it drone with silencers on as well? (On stock header/front pipe)

For me, it droned minimally when actually pressing the gas pedal, throughout the whole rev range but it hardcore drones with foot off the gas 3500/4000 rpm and under. With silencers, basically no drone when on the gas, and off the gas at 3500/4000 and under is minimal. Hopefully that makes sense to you. Basically, the silencers do help A LOT in controlling the drone, but then the sound is not as nice and deep. It's a trade off.

i'm running this with the berk test pipe. and before my drone was unbearable with berk dual muffler delete. the drone isn't bad at all, only under heavy load does it get loud.but even then it's not going to kill your ears. inside noise is also less with catless front pipe and n1 setup. i'm comparing vs a berk muffler delete
