The N1 is way louder than the Q300 is in the cabin of the car. The Q300 doe sa great job of keeping things inside the car quiet but yet when listening from outside the car sounds beastly.

Exactly correct, its too bad videos really can not capture that but it is what it is...

Yes, the Q(stands for quiet)300 is quieter than the N1. No question.

I was more stating overall, independent of the Q300, the N1 is not an overly loud exhaust after "break in" (carbon build up) as a lot of people make it out to be. Part of this also depends on some other factors too though. Like if somebody is running just the catback (like me) or if they are running a complete exhaust (header, overpipe, front pipe (with or without resonator or HFC) along with N1 or Q300).

Got my Invidia N1 catback installed yesterday without silencers and I LOVE IT. It sounds so amazing and I really cannot say enough about it. For the price I don't think you can beat it. There was an FRS at the shop getting perring installed and I thought the Invidia sounded better but i might be a little biased

I love the n1 I just install them today with a buddy of mine and it sounded great would highly recommend them, just one question is it suppose to be smokey?

It'll burn off. Just some oil left from the construction of the pipe and materials.
