Carbon fiber when used to replace heavier parts = goodness.
CF look without any benefit = stupid.

Let me see here. The Subaru XT was a pizza slice stood on it's side with wheels. Or better yet, a wedge of cheese with wheels on it. I would rather not have the BRZ associated with the thing atll together. If they want a turbo, give us the BRZ STI and don't bring up any sad/bad memories from Subaru's history thank you.

Why would anyone want AWD? They already make that car.

On the BRZ the brakes already feel great, the bias seems fine, and it's light enough that fade can be fixed with higher temp brake pads.
To certain point, I do agree with you... but comparing WRX to BRZ a bit apple to orange isn't it? Cuz if you think Subaru 4/2 pot calipers weren't that great, wouldn't you change it to H6 big calipers in front instead in your WRX? Also I haven't heard much complain from Rex owner about Subaru 4/2 calipers lack braking.

We don't know 100% til someone test it out to see OEM calipers feel better than Subaru 4/2 pot calipers on BRZ/FRS.

Sorry I wasn't complaining about the 4pots, they are awesome. Bad wording on my part. On the WRX, the stock brakes are terrible so it was a huge difference, and it is a heavier car so it demands more from the brakes. I just think the BRZ's brakes are so good stock that there wouldn't be any reason to put the 4 pots on this car. Once they add more power, then it will make more sense. I really think this "XT line" is a preview of the cosmetic changes they will be making for the turbo BRZ (BRZ XT) which they will probably reveal at a bigger show. They are just testing the waters here to see if people like these appearance mods.

I don't care what they call it or what it looks like, just give me a turbo version.

This being turbo is total speculation at this point. If they show some turbo, then I will completely not care that all the mods that they show could be done by one person in an afternoon. (only exceptions being the seats that would be sent to an upholsterer)

It may not be extreme enough to be considered a concept car. However, i'm diggin the looks and those red leather seats . I think those would look great in a white, asphalt, or silver car

Yeah, XT does seem to imply their modern designation for turbo. But if it is only to "pay tribute" to the XT, then that's pretty pathetic. As Zoomzoomers said, it's not like it was a particularly special car for Subaru, nor was it rear wheel drive, so I don't know why they'd want to remind people of it. So yeah, most likely this is indeed a sign from Subaru that they're working on a turbo variant.

His statement was

Make = Current

Last GM chassis made were '01... we're in '12 going on '13, more than 10 yrs ago. If it was few yrs ago, I'll give that statement some slack, but when it become more than 10yrs... it need to be corrected.
