Agree. Car looks damn sexy with the contrasting colors on the exterior. Do not like the red seats at all. Makes it look gaudy

I think it looks nice but no harbinger of a turbo IMHO. And those seats... at least make them two tone.

Looks tacky. Nice to see the brakes from my current car on it. They should have gone for a darker red like BMW.

AWD means you'll be losing power through two more differentials and carrying around a bunch more weight. A turbo is believable but you're approaching $40k pretty fast with all these bits.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of the wheels and other stuff, but I love the CF/Vinyl wrap on the roof/mirrors/wing (the wing, to a lesser extent). I may very well use this car as inspiration for my SWP BRZ in that regard.

Loving the red Subaru 4/2 pots. I put them on my Impreza2.5RS and they're the best thing Subaru has next to Brembo's.

They should have used those brakes from the start.

When I get my BRZ I just might have to swap the brakes off of my Impreza.

And for reference the 4/2 pots were first featured on the sexiest car ever made. The Impreza WRX STI 22b.

XT certainly comes across as a turbo, but awd has me more curious; motor forward and lifted would be a must.
Meh, still more prone to understeer, and I'm referring to EVO and STI. Even Subaru has to do quite a bit of suspension tweeking on the WRX/STI to get it to behave the way it does.

I have 4 pot front/Legacy H6 rear swap on my WRX and I like the stock BRZ brakes better. I don't think the 4 pot/2 pot would be any improvement other than looks. In case you didn't know the 4 pots actually have less clamping force than the sliding calipers. The benefit is better feel, more thermal capacity, and brake bias shifted more towards the rear. On the BRZ the brakes already feel great, the bias seems fine, and it's light enough that fade can be fixed with higher temp brake pads.

They assume so much in the artcle - AWD & turbo are huge assumptions. I wouldn't be surprised if this car is never offered with turbo. In fact, I'm more curious if a higher displacement NA engine that's easier to fit (no IC, no IC piping, no turbo, no header modification) will be used at some point like a small flat6 or a 2.2L or 2.5L flat4...

I cant believe they would release a special edition with vinyl included in the package! Shouldnt enthusiasts be able to do that themselves. And no offense to anyone that has it, but the cf vinyl roof is not a new thing and is becoming played out quick. I am disappointed they don't have more original add ons..

I like it even if there're some hit and misses. Nothing too much to get all worked up over though, but them seats are pretty nice.

Haha, looks like they put the Toyota dash on there :P

The car will never be AWD, wouldn't be called a BRZ if it was.
