Can you tell me which brand/model of jackstands you got from Autozone? I took a look at their website and they have several blue models.
Hmm i've gotten rid of both Harbor Freight and the Autozone stands recently and upgraded to Esco Jackstands.

They were Duralast and most likely one of the lower weight capacity models. If I had to guess, it was either the 2 or 4 ton model.

I can't justify jackstands that cost almost as much as the jack I want.

Yeah, but I figured I would never have to buy jack stands again or at least for another decade or so

Yeah I said that when I bought my Hein-Werner...now I need a lower jack or trust my life with ramps/2x4 planks.

I was looking at the Esco ones too. Did you get the flat top circular ones? If so did you have any issues with the pinch welds getting in the way?

I got the flap top type. The jack stands sit on top of the pinch welds.

Stupid question, but how easy is it to get the underpanels off again if I ever need to get behind them? Is it all just screws and stuff, or some pop off plastic things like the rest of the bodywork?

Impossible to remove...might as well get a new car if you ever need to get behind them, sorry.

Ordered and installed mine with US part numbers that are now available...

USDM part numbers:

56411CA000 (1)
56411CA010 (1)
42045CA020 (1)
42045CA030 (1)
909140065 (30 can never have too many clips :P )
901000344 (3 bolts that are needed for the big panels, rest can be re-used)
909140007 (4 big clips for the rear panels)

No more expensive shipping prices for some extremely lightweight plastic panels! LOL

$196.70 from www.subarugenuineparts.com

Jamie at Chaplin's Subaru is amazing. She's been helping out the folks from NASIOC for years and I doubt you'll find anywhere that's cheaper than here.
