For those of you who used FedEx, did you also get a duty & tax invoice? I had no idea I had to pay any tax until I got the past due notice today. It's not very much (~$11), but I'm just curious because I never got a notification with my package or from the FedEx employee who delivered it.

I just received my package today. I wonder if that info is in the packing slip stuck to the outside of the box.

I just went through the packing slip a couple minutes ago thinking I missed it, but nothing was there.

I got a letter from fedex for the custom tax about 3-4 weeks after delivery for $25 for the GB (4 total). Never collected from the other guys since it would of been only $6 or so.

Ahh.. Weird. The only thing I can think of is that I must've accidentally thrown away the original notice thinking it was junk mail, haha.

I started lurking this thread a few minutes ago. And now I've ordered a set. Dammit @cslntuee! I blame you for mentioning this to me lol. Though I could've sworn japanparts listed this for $700-$900 last year which is why I've dismissed this idea til now.

That's about right if you wanted a set of 4. They have a group buy for people who order 4.

AHHH, so THAT'S what it was. Yeah I just noticed "set of 4" listed on JP as well for ~$700. And I noticed the GB discussions on here. Wouldn't that get a little hairy with one person having to ship to individuals and potentially getting hit by a duties tax from the US shipper/gov't? Last year I had to pay an extra $50 duty tax when a bunch of boxes come to me from JP at once. I didn't want to deal with all that so I just ordered.

The group buy doesn't make sense if the person coordinating the payment has to ship them out. It's a huge box and you'd end up paying for more. I haven't been hit with duty tax yet.

Oh those packages were worth like over $2200 all in one order. It was my STI wheels and STI springs plus maybe something else (I forget). I've ordered stuff from JP like 4 or 5 times now and that was the only time I ever got hit with an additional tax later. But it was also my biggest order ever.

Bout time bro. I figured you already had these. They are definitely worth the cost of entry. These parts were meant to be on our cars. It's silly that they came without.

Yap, now that I figured out it's 1/4 the cost of what I originally thought, bringing the drag coefficient down to it its originally intended 0.27cd isn't so painful. Because LFA
