![]() edit: Just got this email from JPM Coachworks though after messaging them to see if they would do a center console that matches their other items: Good Afternoon. Thank you for your interest in our products. We are working on a possible design for a center console/armrest. Let me know if you need any help completing your order for the brake and shift boot in leather with red stitching. We are currently testing several high quality simulated leathers for use in the knee-pads, speaker trim, and cluster hood. We will have photographs of the prototypes soon. We are looking forward to debuting the prototype pieces to the community. Last edited by flatline; 11-29-2012 at 03:33 PM. |

Ok, too many pages and not enough attention span. But I really like the look.
Lots of people have mentioned magnets. If you're talking STRONG magnets, I would really advise against it. I had to replace TWO laptop hard drives in one day because a user had a magnetic money clip in his pocket (his laptop instantly died, so his boss handed over his...then that died. Both completely unrecoverable). I usually put my phone and wallet in front of the cup holders. Magnets would worry me. +1 for some type of drop-in install. However, this might make it so the cup holder piece no longer fits, if thickness is added to the inside (just guessing). I was about to get on the "slide back" wagon, but my gf usually holds her coffee anyway. She doesn't like taking corners fast, so I don't have to worry about her spilling. Not really sure if she actually puts her arm there, but she has her own car damnit!

Sorry, I haven't had any updates to share... Until now. I received a new off-tool piece. There is now a little cutout at the front of the mounting bracket to allow a cord to pass through while the armrest is closed. I'll post some pics in the next day or two.
No word yet on price or availability. I'll keep everyone posted. From Tapatalk on my Android |

Sooner or later someone will make one that looks just like this one and someone else is gonna be a loser because they dragged their feet.......early bird gets the worm, unless your bird died or is lazy.....

to me this is the only really good looking armrest out there. I mean this one looks just about as oem as possible and is that not what we want? I really hate that this thing has stalled like it has

Yeah, that was the one I originally wanted but I gave up waiting when I saw the new one that Sportsguy83 is selling. They just came out with it and it covers the entire opening in the console which is what I wanted. To me it has the added advantage of not needing holes punched in my console.
