I haven't had that much trouble yet, been stopped at a few RBT's and always get a few questions about the car. One cop asked me how it runs, all I could say was "she runs very.. smooth.." hah!

One problem is on the motorways I've had 3 cops on different occasions right up my ass just waiting for me to slip up.. the attention is pretty annoying. Still love the car to bits, just have to be careful.

No cops have done that to me, but so many boy racers. this morning for example, when ever i am first at a red light, i normally give it all its got to the speed limit, and once im there, just cruise. This morning some guy in a 5 year old lancer, was behind me at the lights, and when i look in the mirror, and is coming at me at like 100km/h in a 60 zone, i move to the left lane and he flies by me still accellerating, he almost clipped the median strip. the thing looked like a boat, swaying around the corner. So dangerous :\

Thats what i love about the celica... never had any problems with cops after i removed the sports muffler...

Getting 86 in the next few days ... good behaviour license 1 point till december... im going to have to take a real easy !!!!!!!!!!!!!

got my first one today.

was really shitty. cop is sitting right at the end of a 45mph zone that is at the bottom of a long grade that is 60mph. i go to make a pass on a BMW and i hit about 67 when i see the cop and instantly let off the gas... i see him start to go on his bike so i down shift and slow down a lot. he waits for me and gets behind isntantly pulling me over.

cop.... know why i pulled you over.
me... yes sir i was going a little fast.
cop... do you know the speed limit.
me ... yes sir its 55 right? ( i honestly didnt know what it was before the 60 mph)
cop now with a very hostile voice... well you were going 67 and thats even faster then highway speeds.
me... not saying a god dam thing cause i know its gonna result in me getting a beating.
cop.... looking at me for a answer
me.... sir i am not gonna sit here and try to make excuses to you.
cop... any warrants, is your license good.
me... yes sir.

cop walks back to his bike for a few mins doing all the call in and what not before returning.
cop...im giving you a ticket for doing 67 in a 45 and for your front window tint.
me... my front window is not tinted
cop...thats your windshield these side windows are your front windows. you cant have side windows tinted at all.
me ...:picard: but im not gonna start arguing with him about it.
cop... any questions.
me.... no then I sign the ticket and go.


so first off i dont mind having to pay my ticket. i did the crime so i take my punishment which is a dent in the wallet. the only thing that really ticks me off is why some cops got to be such assholes for no reason. i was brown nosing this fucking pig so there is no need to be a prick to me.

all in all i guess it was time for me to pay the piper... in the last 10 years i have got a lot of really nice cops... sometimes i still got a ticket but the cops werent assholes about it.

besides it all... hes freaking out im doing 67 mph when i shit you not 100 yards up the road i can see the 60 mph speedlimit sign..... i might fight this one and hope he dont show up.

i think it varys from state to state but in NAZIfnornia anything that is driver or forwards cant be up to a certain darkness. basically the cop has to be able to still see you.

Ouch, that sucks.

I was going down the carpool lane on the 15 just south of Lake Hodges yesterday when the detector went off. Motorcycle cop on the right shoulder of the carpool lane just around a curve with his gun on.

Fortunately, I was in a group of 6 cars tightly packed all doing 75ish before he lit us up. Dropped to manual and downshifted to 70ish and he didn't mount the bike. Whew.

Watch out on the south 15 as it seems that they are stepping up enforcement. That motorcycle cop was the 3rd CHP I saw in a 3 mile stretch.

i was in escondido heading up to valley center... he sits right by the fruit stand... total trap and a half... everyone gains speed going from a 45 to 60 and on a up hill :/

cops use to sit in between two trees right where the 76 on ramp to the 15 is... i love the city workers tho cause they stopped trimming those trees so the cops cant have a sweet hiding spot in between them anymore.

I've also seen them sitting near the exit of the 78 west to south 15 on the shoulder where the ramp merges. In this spot you can't see them when you are going south past the El Norte exit. Everyone is doing like 80+ after that long stretch between the 76 and the 78. Be careful everyone.
