Those aren't ITBs, those are what they call TGVs (Tumble Generator Valves) and they come AFTER the original single TB. They were used on the WRX/STI for emissions reasons, they create an obstruction which swirls the air and creates more complete combustion when the engine is cold/during startup. When performance levels get high enough most WRX/STI owners remove them. The JDM EJ207 engines do not have them.

As for the BHP/WHP debate it would take Litchfield to answer that question. Either way you just have to look at the % gain versus the raw numbers. The stock 1/4 mile trap speeds most magazines and some users on here have run are consistent with it having right around 200hp.
Which magazines have a review of this setup?

Same here! Fitting the complete Milltek exhaust (like Litchfield's performance package) soon and I am seriously considering their remap.

I made 200whp on a dynojet. NA. No need to hope. It's been done.

This dyno apparently reads high. Is it a dynapack?

Have been running the Litchfield tune ( and Milltek exhaust ) for a few weeks and I'm very impressed.

Keeps the character of the engine , but gives more.

Sounds great too; proper cabin noise

Stop gap measure until the supercharger goes on

Mucho track time and a euro road trip coming up , can't wait.

It would be very unusual to quote rwhp in the UK.

I highly doubt this. What you are saying is they took off the tranny and rest of the drive train and hooked up some sort of dyno while the car was run up on a hoist?

Or pulled out the entire engine so it could run on a bench with the full exhaust system while hooked up to a bench dyno just to get crank horse power numbers?

Since when has the UK ever quoted crank numbers versus wheel numbers? In brochers? Like they do here in North America?

Yes these were all rehitorical questions.

Also since when has this car ever baselined at 170 at the crank??? I'd sue Toyota for false advertisement, and demand a free TRD turbo or all my money back.

No, they used a hub dyno (like a dynapack) to measure the power. Read the other thread in this section about dyno's. It's very informative.

...
Or simply apply a correction factor* to account for the tranny loss, you know, like everyone else.

*Around 15% for an FR car, if my memory serves me right.

Yeah, I don't want to go to E85 for various reasons, the main one being that there are only 2 stations that sell it and the closest one is 35 minutes away from me. I want 200WHP on 93.

a hub dyno still won't give you 'crank' horse power. it is essentially giving you 'Hub' horse power.

Not the point. I was answering your questions, albeit they were rhetorical.
