Try using a pair of needle nose pliers. Worked like a charm for me. The pin is such a little bitch to get out though. You'll have to fight it.

It's worth it though, not only does the raceseng r lockout improve the overall quality and feel of the lockout, the pin can be removed with a simple allen wrench by just unscrewing it..

Shouldn't be very hard. Just position your hand (use the pinky) so you can lift the lock out and put your hand sideways on the extender.

Yeah, there's literally zero issues with shifting into reverse lol. Not sure why you would think there would be.

OEM knob is a lot heavier.
You can feel the difference in how light and jittery it is compared to stock.
Definitely couldn't use it on a regular basis. Looks badass though.

For those with the Torque Solutions collar, does it raise the overall height of the shift knob ? And if so, is it by a noticeable amount?

It does but not by very much, maybe 1/8-1/4". not very noticeable.
