Is it really that difficult...?

I had some lady ding my car while I was in it when I first got my tC. I stared at her in disbelief and she had the gall to say "It's not so bad" to the 3 inch gash she put into my baby's passenger door.

The old me would've stabbed her door with an icepick or something, but I decided to take the high road and say "Oh, then I'm sure you won't mind paying for it!" and proceeded to whip out my phone and take various pictures of her license plate as well as her car. Needless to say, she paid for the damages out of pocket. :-X

Hopefully no one does that to my new baby though... >.<

This story happened when i was in mexico

I was parked at a local convenience store, i was sitting in my car when a douche in a dodge ram pulls up next to me and parks, he swings open his door hitting my car. i respond with "hey buddy do you not have any respect for anyone elses shit?" and he responds with "no i dont have respect for anyone that drives jap shit taking away american jobs" he then knocks my door panel with his knuckles, laughs and walks off"

i responded by pulling out my knife, hammered it in his door then drug it about 1 foot then took it out, hope his dodge ram rusts from the inside out...

dont assume i wont do a damn thing when you purposely damage my car twice in my face, then insult my baby and me....

seems to be a fuc8in' disease!..i know it sounds ''sexist",
but i have seen so much over 40 years of driving.women just don't care about this stuff,as their minds are always far,far, away,or they are talking on a cell phone while driving! (hot damn!)

To be fair, I've seen other guys do the same damn thing because their moving metal deathtraps no longer matter to them, so they assume everyone else feels the same way about their car...

To me, it's not so much about the aesthetic damage - it can be fixed one way or another. But I can't stand when people are inconsiderate. Period. Yeah, I get it - not everyone feels the same way about things. But don't try to minimize my concerns by saying crap like "oh it's just a dent" just because if it happened to you, you wouldn't care.

That kinda thing irks me to no end.

i can sympathize,but it IS frustrating when people act so indignant
they seem to totally disregard their own safety,and others as well!
it would appear at least at face value,that they are generally unhappy,so they want to make everyone else around them unhappy too! this type of attitude is very disconcerting!
we need to treat each other with respect,and also to value other people's property.

Some women care. A few weeks ago someone let a cart loose and it hit my wifes car. She jumped out looking for who did it then proceeded to hammer toss the cart across the lot. She hates that shit and people too lazy to put a cart away.

My car got dinged yesterday, it's just a minor ding; but still a ding.

Fawking people who ding cars shouldn't be able to own cars. Now I have to live knowing there's a small dent on my driver door.

I think people just don't care. I was in a drive through and the guy in front of me noticed my car. He came out of his car to look, literally throwing the door open straight into the wall and he didn't even flinch.

Happens to me a lot. At least in my truck, which I don't care about. I just whip my door open and do the same thing back but 10 fold. Happened ONCE in my M3... I took pictures and had lots of evidence, called the police, and got my car fixed. I did however take it to the most expensive exotics only shop I could find and racked up a $5,000 bill that she had to pay.

i can sympathize! had the same thing happen to me! it takes maybe an extra 30 seconds to place the cart in the cart corral,however this is too much effort for some people!..i guess!

I just always park AWAY from people, and if possible I only park in CORNER spots
which allow me extra space to move over, and by doing so I allow extra space for who ever ends up next to me so they HOPEFULLY do not ding my door.
