This is why I hate going down to Richmond; their parking spaces are tight, many people there can't seem to be able to drive, and some of their roads are just so stupidly confusing.
(Is it in Richmond? Lol)

This is at UBC, and that is part of the problem. Even if I try to park in some obscure place there are so many people that the lot always fills up and I always end up beside an idiot.

I either park sooo bad close to the end side of the last stall, in a stall thats next to a pole or somewhere where there are little to no cars or on the street. I don't trust people cause it's already happened to my car too. Sucks cause our paint is soft

You should find some sort of attachable spike you can put on your door?

Lol, this is when you buy a "Hybrid" magnet from eBay and stick that on the back of the car and park it in the "Hybrid Parking Only" zone.

Can't, in Ontario...we have a HYBRID only license plate that actually shows your car is a hybrid...

no! "apathy" is a "learned" behavior!

Note: I always park in an end spot and usually the most distant, out-of-the-way spot I can find. Also, these people had a good three feet of room between the two cars and they still hit my door. WTF people?

Is anyone else's car constantly assaulted by these types of ignorant a-holes?
your car was targeted! they resent the fact you have a nice car! jealousy
ia a powerful emotion!

being "obtuse" is a common trait among ignorant people!

this is "dead nuts" accurate, and the reason is,japanese steel is ''recycled"
steel that has a very thin "mil thickness",and is molecularly inferior to virgin sheet steel, thus it isn't as strong, and is more rust prone too!

It is what it is. Any time I catch someone do it to my car I kick their doors in. My .02.
this an effective strategy, however just don't get caught doing this!

Soccer mom will definitely park on the line next to your passenger door, leaving half the room for her bloated walking corpse of a body to get out while her brood literally kicks open the back doors(also on the passenger side) instead of getting out on the clear side which incidentally has twice as much room.

If you ever see it happen, make sure to file a claim. Punishment is the only way these landwhales will learn. If you let them off and bite your tongue, it will continue for eternity.

being ''apathetic" about life in general,is generally associated with "uneducated" people!

Welcome to America.
yesss! unfortunately being obese is very common in america.it would seem to the casual observer that americans want to "eat" their troubles away!
this is very disconcerting!

And that's why they're hitting your car on purpose. No, I'm not kidding. Yes, I've caught and confronted people doing it on purpose.

Learn to maximize inter-car space, minimize the odds of flanking car owners being assholes, and to apply these skills in a stealthy manner.

generally parking next to a curb on one side will work for ya,but not always!
as the previous poster states, and i agree,if they want to f**k it up they will no matter what you do! some people are just "cooked" with no lives,so you cannot protect your self from everything!..leaving the car parked in the hinterlands, will NOT necessarily keep the
a**holes away from it as you have experienced! some people gotta hate! go figure!

dont worry its not that bad, some are just haters, especially big truck assholes

This story happened when i was in mexico

I was parked at a local convenience store, i was sitting in my car when a douche in a dodge ram pulls up next to me and parks, he swings open his door hitting my car. i respond with "hey buddy do you not have any respect for anyone elses shit?" and he responds with "no i dont have respect for anyone that drives jap shit taking away american jobs" he then knocks my door panel with his knuckles, laughs and walks off"

i responded by pulling out my knife, hammered it in his door then drug it about 1 foot then took it out, hope his dodge ram rusts from the inside out...

dont assume i wont do a damn thing when you purposely damage my car twice in my face, then insult my baby and me....

Someone dented by car yesterday as they got out of the car. Huge chipped paint too. She walked into the store without saying a word and acted as if nothing happened (even though we saw each other eye to eye). I got out of my car, knifed all four of her tires and left. Nothing of value was lost. Simply put, Fuck retards, give them what they deserve.

Edit: Okay i totally made that up. I'd do that If i were quarter of what chuck norris is. I actually unscrewed the tire caps on her rear wheels and gave her flat tires :P
