I was going to get Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2's, but Beaurepairs quoted me $438/tyre for 225/40/R18 on the front, and $698/tyre for 245/35/R18 on the rear....yes, that's nearly $700 A TYRE on the rear.

So I'm getting some Yokohama Advans instead.

damn, that's a rip off.
Same tyre's from US will cost you $700 AUD ($740 USD) plus shipping.

Even if shipping is $200, you are still better off

If I had this car, I'd be getting fk452's in a 235 or 245 all around to maximize handling
I'm not a fan of staggered, but that's just my stupid opinion (I don't like not being able to rotate tires back to front, already bad enough I can't side to side due to rotational threads lol)

For falkens for anyone in Brisbane I would reccomend keith4wheels. Very knowledgable and helpful and prices were great last time I went there.

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 2 was the other one I've been looking at.
Got quoted $295 for 235/40/18, price jumps about $50 each for 225/40/18 which is my preferred size.

I am going to run Federal 595 RSR Semis in 265/35R18 on the 9.5" Rears ($265)
and I am running Federal 595 RSR Semis in 225/40R18 on the 8.6" Fronts ($225)
These tyres are on the limit of size increase you can go legally in QLD so check with each state as to what is legal.

You can get them from Option1Garage I found them on the net cheap prices

Hey Guys

Got for sale a set of 4 Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2 in 225/40 R18 88Y
These have done 0km - still have the labels on them.

Brought these for the wife's Skoda, but she needs a load rating of 91 or higher, only because her car can theroetically do 200+km/h.
But these are perfect for all you non turbo guys running 18's (double check your size requirement)

These are one of the best performing tyre out there http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Go...ymmetric-2.htm

Ive been quoted $427 from goodyear and $440 from beaurepaires a corner.

Im selling all 4 for $1100 pickup, Postage at buyers expense.

Thanks for looking
They are in Qld.

RSR595 are not semi slicks. They are classified as high performance.

However good tyres had them on my 400rwkw supra and they were awesome.

This, your right
But nearly every person I talked to thinks they are
May I ask why they are legal limit? Width? Or wheel diameter

In Qld you're fine with a no more than 15mm increase in tyre diameter and I reckon most 265/35s will exceed that. Max width is 275, so that's no issue.

*Of course you also need to ensure correct load and speed ratings too.

Hmmm looks like I'll need 265s then ...
