Are we stopping for burgers or something on the way down? Gonna get real hungry long before 11:00 pm. Also I like to do a course walk at tracks I haven't driven before. I was thinking meet & leave at 2:00 pm. Stop to eat and talk, get to the track in time for a walk around. Any thoughts?

This is the "correct" thing to do.

The "correct" way isn't necessarily the best way.

I'd be up for that if it works for everyone else. Bringing snacks would be a good idea too. (and water, lots of water!)

I don't think anyone took a course walk last time, they don't schedule any time for it, so arriving early if you want to walk the course would probably be advisable. For what it's worth, I found the course very easy to follow, and everyone took their first few laps pretty easy, it was very low pressure.

Not sure I agree, but I'm a bit snobby when it comes to things like badges. I just don't like it when people go "autozone" on their cars. To each their own.

Im just referring to stuff in general. The speed limit SAYS 65, but really 75 is better. Putting OEM stock brakes to replace your old brakes would be considered the "correct" way but really Brembo BBK are better.

Arizona badges --

I'm wondering if we are thinking too small. I'd like to see one badge for all the club regions around the country.
If we developed one design that would work for all the regions we could sell it to the rest of the country.
Picture in your mind that that nice outline of the car that everybody has seen. Iinside the outline of the car would be the web address so anyone seeing it could find us and the name of the region, ie, Arizona or so-cal or NW region. This would work kind of like the SCCA logo. We, like the SCCA regions would maintain our own region identity but still be a part of the larger group from around the country.
If I knew how to post pics & do photo shop I'd create one and post it. Maybe someone who can do this stuff would give it a try. We could chip in for the materials to have them made once we agree on a design. We sell them to all the other FR-S/BRZ owners around the country and use the money to fund some cool parties.

"pepboys" is better term. But I wouldnt consider gt86 emblems as going pepboys no matter what you're doing with it.

Wouldn't that just be a sticker from this forum. I feel we would be stepping on toes if we created our own and tried to sell them. Maybe something to talk to the mods about?
