RE: FT86 Track Day @ P1 in Tucson, I would definitely be up for that. However, I do not have a helmet right now, so if someone has an extra... (or maybe I can beg the SCCA PHX/SCCA Sierra/Tucson guys for a loaner for the day with a deposit or whatever.

(I just really need to man up and buy one already.)

Anyone change out the reverse light bar yet....and find it not to be a huge pain in the ass?

Just swapped mine without "Proper" tools...

If you are going to do it, definitely have a jack, jack stands, flashlight/shop light, 10mm wrench, and don't do it right after driving for an hour...

Did it with a gerber...like fixing anything in the Navy, its doable....but there is an easier way.

Yes I have done it and I am about to help @Sivtec with his. I was explaining to him how much of a pain it is. Mainly beacause there is no room between the muffler and the bumper to fit a wrench in there. I plan to take out the pop rivets that hold the bottom of the bumper in allowing me to pull on it ever so slightly to fit my huge hands in there and a socket to get those pesky bolts on top. Then putting everything back in it sure is hard to get those pop rivets in on the side. Those holes are hard to line up.

I also did the two plastic rivets on the passenger side to let me move it out enough to get my hands in there and not fry my arm on the still boiling muffler....

and even then I did it blind and one handed for the most part haha....eyes closed seeing with my hand...took an hour to get it out and 5 minutes to get the Valenti replacement in....now I just have to wire the fog and brake light after I wake up tonight.

yeah the only way i see this easy for people is if they do not have a muffler that goes all the way to the bumper. A track pipe or muffler delete would be perfect lol.

Sounds like it might be faster to take the muffler off. Should be pretty easy, it's just two 14mm bolts and some lube for the hangers.

Which Valenti light did you get? PICS!!!

Yea I am a little worried about the install, however, I have the exact same exhaust as this picture, and if you jack it up high enough it should be no problem.

Running the Smoked Valenti bottom bar with Smoked Crystal Eyes tails....I like it because the valenti bar is a little darker tint so it is more stealth against the bumper.

Haha, exact same one I am getting. Take pictures!!! Maybe if your close I can come take a look at it. Pictures dont do justice all the time. But i got the smoke for that very reason. Especially on a black car with tinted tail lights.

Do you think it will be any easier with the exhaust I have to install?

I am still awaiting a price from one of my hook ups. How much was yours? I am curious so I can compare it to the price she will quote me. Maybe sometime this week when you get it all wired up I can come down and look at it. I am in Mesa so you arent that far away.

Oh dang @Sivtec now that Im seeing the underside of what your exhaust looks like this will be a walk in the park. May not even have to jack up the car. I didnt and I am lowered with a muffler in the way.
