SOOOO ****ing irritated! This is why I don't use service centers or get warranties...

So I drive to Peoria Scion and sit in the service center. This guy comes over and I explain to him what is the problem, my car has erratic idle issues since I bought it but it has gotten worse and it stalled on me for the first time this weekend so I thought I would bring it in before a CEL comes on. I also explain to him that their is already a well known issue with this problem as well as a TSB. I also showed him what it was doing as well so that way he could see it first hand.

So he leaves and explains it to another person. It took seriously like 20 mins before he came back and told me he has to go talk to the service foreman. So now I'm sitting there like great..... He finally gets back to me and says that there are two TSB's on the ECU regarding "calibration" issues and that it wouldn't fix my idle issue. Uh....wtf... ok. So then he was like we will have to run some diagnostics on the car so you will have to schedule an appointment. Being already irritated I thought I would ask just to see what his response would be: "So what happens if a CEL comes on? Am I ok to just drive it around?" "Oh yea, it should be fine." "Uh... except it will run like crap." "Well yea but it should be ok." WTF? You just let people drive with CEL's on....

SO know I'm worried about my intake even more because I just know that they are going to blame that for the idle issues...

Sense you are on this side of town just take it too Avondale Toyota. They had mine there and will fix it. Those Larry miller dealerships couldn't even help themselves let alone someone else.

They were confused about mine at first and had trouble duplicating it but after a few phone calls they got it fixed also a fuel pump swap will fix it because they flash the ECU whenever they replace it.
