If there is anyone available in the next couple of hours that could help me move my car, aka get to drive it, I would appreciate the help. I'm moving today and just need someone to drive the car while I drive my truck. Text or call 9418070055.

Alright some things...

First, thanks to Ninjin for taking me and some friends on the rides in Tucson. It was a blast and it make me think twice on what I need to be doing with my car. Our cars were just made to be on the track. I am sold on Autocross.

Next my intake... I have looked at a couple of forums and still there hasn't been a definitive fix yet. I have the Injen intake and it sounds and works great. There is no torque issues or anything but it still has crappy idle. Its never consistent and today was the first time it actually shut off on me. So I have no idea what to do. I love the way it looks and I feel like it is performing just fine but the idle is crappy. Any ideas at all? I am very bummed on this considering I was very excited about buying from a repitable company.

And lastly, I just hit 10000 miles... damn.....

Sorry I wasn't able to give you a ride along I didn't realize they were going to put my work groups back to back. Also the idle dip and stalling happened to me a reflash if the ecu will fix it most dealers only take an hour to do it.

Try to reset your ecu if you haven't done yet. Just unplug negative terminal for about 5 minutes or so and it should reset.... If that doesn't work then get a reflash

Hey no problem jasper. We weren't able to even get waivers till later anyways. And by the way your car makes me think twice on getting black. Very good looking car.

Well I already reset my ecu... That didn't work. So about the reflash... What's the difference between that and the reset? Is this going to void my warranty if it's installed?

Congrats to Ninjin on his fifth place in street tire at Marana. Street tire is one of the fast categories. He drove really well.

Sistec you should have stuck around and got a few rides with me.

Damn... I wanted to actually stay longer too. I took some friends tho and they had some other things going on the rest of the day. But no worries evil, I'll be going to many events from this point forward. I'm definitely hooked.

Technically I'm the number one STX novice... I'm also the only one lol. I had a lot of fun and learned a lot. Dustin says thanks for the ride alongs he wanted to see what it was sense he heard me talking about it. I can't wait to get tires now these faster courses are really causing the back end to slide all over the place on me. It is making me a better driver by teaching me to correct it when it gets loose but I'm tired of practicing that I want some damn tires already!

Edit: I also am finally getting better at carrying speed looked at the video from today and even on the tightest corner never let it drop below 3k rpm before on a corner like that it would have been around 1k and I would have lost time getting that power back.

Well if you get a tune, then yes it will void warranty but you can always reflash the ecu back to stock before you go to dealership or you can see if the dealership can reflash your ecu. There was a TSB on idle dip and dealerships said that a reflash is in need to fix that....

Well its not tuned so I don't have to worry about that. So in a nutshell I do not have to put the old intake back in? They will still reflash with the Injen intake in? If that's the case then I will go tomorrow. So with the reflash it will contain a "fixed" ecu mapping, which in return will help with the intake that I have installed? Just trying to rap my head around it...

Don't worry about having an intake. They don't care about small stuff like that.

You need to bring your car to the dealership asap. A car that stalls is a huge safety concern. There have been at least two ecu updates and 3 new ecus that have come out since my cel issues. You will want to make sure the idle issue is not the start of the cel issues although I have not seen many lately.
