Next decision fa20 CAI or just get a works drop in filter and silicone tube. Still hard to believe their drop in adds 10 hp... But all the evo guys swear by it on their forums

I would take your filter out and try a run. My trd doesn't feel a increase. Tune tune tune. Its not about the hp increase its a whole new experience getting rid of the torque dip. Make sure you have miles on your car first so you really appreciate the difference.

But yeah I've been wanting a tune just making sure most of the kinks are worked out of them and no CEL's have been thrown before i pull the trigger

That was quick lol Seriously though, I've said this for years! AZ has some of the worst drivers ever! This past Wednesday morning after almost getting hit by two cars that collided after both ran a red light, I bought myself a GoPro like camera to mount on the inside of my windshield to record such events.

Any who, I met up with a Argento FRS today on my way home. We pulled into a gas station to talk. He just bought the car ans someone already stole his antenna Dealer is giving him a free replacement which is nice. Told him about our little club here as well.

I have the TRD drop in filter and modified the elbow from air box to throttle body. I noticed more from the elbow than the filter. It helped smooth out the rpms and shifting. I did see a video where they tested 3 different drop in filters, one was a TRD, all 3 gained 5hp. Nothing really happened to TQ.
I recently deleted the resonator on the front of the air box. It changed the tone of my intake a little and smoothed out my shifting and RPMs even further! The motor is breathing much better now.
