But being positive cause system was just installed and ill be getting a new bumper which means no CHIPS
Yeah I know the feeling I waited to get the clear bra and now my bumper is speckled under the clear bra

Yeah I'll be most likely getting the clear bra application done. Hopefully my bumper will be done fast cause I hate driving around with a jacked up car.

It's amazing how thin our bumpers are. But bumper isn't too bad as I thought. Missing the black plastic piece where the fog lights are suppose to go and the very bottom of the bumper wants to come off but nothing that a ghetto rig can fix until I get everything ordered. Most important is that everyone is save and that the piece of wood that hit my car didn't hit windshield and possibly gone thru. You will still probably see me at the pavs tonight tho even tho my front looks a little jacked up. Me n Yruyur can park next to each other and be the cripple frs's out of the bunch

I think you have to wait 30 days after paint to put on a clear bra or opti products. At least thats what the body shop told me.

Wonder if they could add a hardener to make the new paint harder to resist some of these issues

Dunno, I'm just tired of rock chips and with the FRP bumper I'm going with I don't want any at all, I'll talk with the guy's doing my paint job about it and see what they recommend.

I think I'm going to go with a partial wrap at first: center of the hood, front bumper, roof, body lines on the trunk and rear of the car. This way I don't have to deal with a full wrap and the amount of labor/materials that goes into it. Besides, the vinyl holds up to chips better than our fingerpainted car does.

I must say im glad I got the bra when I bought the car. I would do the full hood though. I dont like the third of the hood done and everyone thinking the end of the bra is a scratch.

I don't see the point of doing the hood, I have zero scratches or chips on my original stock one and no scratches on my CF one so it's kinda meh. Now my poor rear wheels got battered like Rhianna on our Tortilla Flat run the lips are all chipped up...kinda makes me sad
