Christmas driving lesson

Every semester my son and I have a deal-if he gets all A's he will get something special, like headphones. He got his driver's license when he turned 16 in June, and I told him if he got straight A's again and didn't have an accident or a ticket over the first 6 months, I would teach him how to drive a stick shift. He kept up his end of the deal so today we went out for the first time and practiced getting started into first gear. Say a prayer for my clutch lol. I think I need a cervical collar. Actually he did fairly well-I think the BRZ is a little harder to get started compared to other cars I've driven. Tomorrow hopefully we can get into second gear.

Merry Christmas everyone!

Clutch grab adjustment will make that that first gear 1000% better.

Ok, now that everyone got the cash they asked for for Christmas, PM me with which parts you'd like to buy. I'll be posting my parts up in the classifieds if there is no local interest.

Thanks!

Paint correction, polish and wax with the Porter Cable and Pinnacle products

Yes, I opened one of my gifts early, don't judge me After reading tons of articles and watching tips on paint correction and detailing I couldn't wait to try out my new Porter Cable. It came with a great set of products and media to use, but man, detailing is some pretty grueling work. Paint correction can get pretty tedious and luckily for me none of the scratches were too deep that I had to wet sand.

Since my son was staying with his mom for Christmas, I spent a good part of my day yesterday and today deleting all the dealer installed swirls as well as imperfections in the clear coat I caused from previous washes. Anyway here are a few pictures of the results. I think they turned out pretty satisfactory for my first time using a machine

Maybe someone can debunk this for me.... On the OFT website when you read their description at the bottom, it says on purchase of OFT you get $495 in OFT dollars.

So does that mean for an extra $20, you can get the headers as well??? This doesnt seem right and I need someone else to confirm this for me LOL

To my understanding on how it works is you do get the amount of money you spend in OFT$ but then you can only use a certain amount of OFT$ towards your purchase. The headers are originally 645$ but if you purchase the OFT then you use some of that money to get the headers for only 515$
