Totally off topic, but has anyone else acquired an Xbox One? It's a bit of a pain with the mandatory install of every game, but forza 5 looks amazing!!

Like... they dont send their parts off to china any more for production, or do you mean manifold production? They did lots of stuff in house before... Most people do in house R&D and then ship off to china. And im not saying thats a bad thing. Just way back they had a not so great reputation in the honda community.

Regardless, im not trying to debate if they are great or all. Just their old reputation i was "meh". Thumbs up for improvement though.

Nope. Designing and fabrication of all their parts are done in house. Quality is the least of my concerns on this build, it really is.

Nope, I got a ps4 & think it's excellent. I'll get an xbone later when I have a spare $500 I don't care to do into the BRZ.

I was talking more in the ballpark of their CNC parts and suspension components. They just started getting into fabrication when i stopped paying attention and went MIA for a while. But anyone can find an excuse to talk shit about any other shop around town so its all the same :P I don't know much on their fabricated parts personally and cant remember who was doing the fabrication early on.

I had a ps4...bought it with the sole intention of selling it. Only made $150, but I sold it to a classmate who couldn't wait til midnight outside best buy to buy one

I understand. Their CNC parts are done at the shop as well. They have 3 machines running at all times and a set of laser engravers. One of their machinist is my father who worked at Honeywell for 25 years machining impellers for both airliners and fighters. Some of the fighters include the F16, F15, and both F22 and F35. This was before he was forcibly laid off when the Phoenix plant was being moved to China, Czech and Mexico. Now its coming back due to "quality control issues" go figure uh? So you can bet that their parts are no longer what they used to be.

Good to hear they are doing it locally! And there can be quality from china, just depends on which manufacture etc. I had no idea they picked up CNC equip over the last few years!

Yup! One of their machines is brand spakin new as of this month.

Haha yeah these machines are something else, The PUMA's at Honeywell were awesome to watch, especially the 5 axis ones they had!
