Personally I don't care what the numbers say. I'm happy with the sound performance quality and every other aspect of my agency power exhaust.it made just about the same power tuned as the other cars with full exhaust.

I've just heard that mustang dynos read lower than dyno comp and others. I have always wondered the same. Is it because some are designed for much higher HP cars?

Correct me if I am wrong but the Mustang Dyno syncs up the rev at a certain mph to create a close 1:1 drive gear. Then the rollers will have a a specific resistance to account for wind resistance, car weight, power loss through drivetrain and such. Because of this, it will read lower. Electrical load bearing dyno.
As for the Dynojet, taking into consideration that it is somewhat of an older dyno, simply reads the HP from the wheels. Inertial dyno. Both are on rollers therefore the inaccuracy due to tire air pressure would be the same but the mustang accounts for other factors. Because the mustang dyno accounts for more practical situations, it is more preferred for tuning. Last edited by redsuns03; 11-04-2013 at 03:02 AM. Reason: spelling error |

Ok the Maha is actually considered one of the better dyno's and apparently the choice of most OEM's.
