Just a high flow muffler. But.... I think I found the solution that will help resolve my issue as well as ezwoods.

I'll be posting a thread on it. Took another temp tonight after a 40 mile drive and the diffuser was only 98 degrees.

I'm looking for it again on youtube someone lost almost 30 horse power with a muffler and cat delete they did some tweeking and got it back. Not sure all the details I watched it on my phone but that made me wonder why with a 30hp loss anyone would want to do this but if that is not the case then I say go for it just be careful the heat doesn't collect to much with all that open space in there.

Yeah that was my thought with a cherry bomb they are really low flow and only $37 bucks not great but will spread the heat around an keep that muffler delete sound.

Thats a muffler AND cat delete..which then leaves all the exhaust scavenging to the headers (manifold really, the factory exhaust doesn't have true 'headers'), which is the worst place to have turbulence in the exhaust system.

I have not noticed a difference in power. I just need to tame the sound a little.

Haha yeah I think anyone that has had an old skool car has had a cherry bomb or some glass packs seems like every old rx7 or nissan z has them and definitely every old V6 camaro or mustang that someone tried to make sound mean lol They are so cheap and have the special ability of making anything sound a lot meaner than it really is which has definitely given them a bad name over the years.
