OP video is utter and total CRAP! And the guy clearly doesn't know how to situate himself behind the wheel, WAY too far back. And he's wearing "Mechanix" gloves as drivers gloves? The way he doesn't even hold the steering wheel in the one hand he keeps on it, with the other forever hanging onto the shift knob for no apparent reason, it's just weird and "non-driverly" in the extreme.
He's wrong about number of doors and engine displacement affecting insurance. If a car generates a lot of $$$ in claims, the insurance rate is high whether it has no doors or 12.
"Clutch uses brake fluid", this is a surprise to him?! The clutch uses brake fluid in every one of the 11 cars I've ever owned.

Kee-ryste, what a TOOOOL!

Haha and those are the exact comments he lives for.

Nice to get Regular Reviews getting some attention, i remember finding them when they only had 5 videos and an average of 3K views.

Will still pull on a stock BRZ/FR-S all day

Re: Regular Car Reviews

Poorly put together, occasional cheap laughs, not really informative at all. More of ritalin induced rant of an internet car nerd meme-maker.

But yeah, don't need no mystical triangles!

I've got nothing against the RX8. Buuuuut.....A coworker owns an early automatic. He's got 70k miles on it and it gets.....11mpg if hes being nice to it, and he had to install a fuel pump kill switch to kill the car before he actually turns the car off, or the pump will keep running and flood the engine, so the next time he tries to start it, it wont start.

Rotaries can be fantastic in the right circumstances, but they are not without problems.

Huh, I've heard revving the motor up and throttle off as it spins down shuts off the fuel injectors (like most modern cars) which means the motor can be shut off safely with no worries for flooding. Literally a 3 second operation: rev to ~4k, throttle off, wait a moment, turn off car.

Not sure how healthy it is to regularly shut off the fuel to stall the car, but I'm sure he wasn't the first.

These things are interesting to say the least.

I crashed my 1993 FD with 36K miles before it could give me any problems lol
