I thought he was talking about the Coupe...where do you see anything about a RWD sedan?

I'm not implying that you want a turbo version, I'm saying I'm more comfortable paying 19 grand for an NA car than I am paying 23k for an NA car. If it was turbocharged I would be happy to pay 23k or more. Putting that extra 4k towards my own turbo setup actually excites me, assuming the factory internals aren't made of paper.

Bring on a 19k coupe.

Not to jack the thread, but could somebody provide a quick point of clarification?

Are Subaru and Toyota sharing:

a) the engine?

b) the engine and transmission?

c) the engine, transmission and chassis?

Thanks.

So, it's going to be a Subaru transmission and gearbox. Is that a good thing? Anyone care to comment?

$19k is a very motivating figure.

Is that good? Are they well made? How about the gearbox? Tight gates and short throws? Or the sloppy stuff, like on a daily driver?

They have hit & miss, so can't say for 100% yet

There is a "parts bin" aspect to all this that is a little depressing. But I guess that's the only way to achieve the $19k price point.

19k is the perfect price for me

AH my apologies again everyone, I saw this post and automatically I thought I read four door and not 4 seats so I asked about the sedan lol. Maybe somewhere in the back of my mind I just want a fun RWD sedan that's not boring like the LEXUS IS...but I wouldn't mind it if they came out with something similar to the old Altezza.

Now Im just curious about the price of the subie compared to the price of the SCION as I think msot of us or alot of us thought the Subie could be 25K +

I don't get what you mean by parts bin. I think you are mistaken.
