I think it's crucial for a guy to know his cars and how to take care of them. My dad always taught me that you can tell how a guy truly is by how clean and maintained his car is. As for knowing how to change oil, flat tire, etc it was the one thing my dad made me learn before letting me have my own car in high school. Strange how most of the guys around here act when I say I'll change their flat if they can't. I get told I can't even break the lug nuts. Silly " men"

On a side note... on the way to my Uni today.. an old (mid 40s) lady driving a WRX Impreza (SPW) destroyed me in my yaris today. :l Took that 30mph corner like a baus.

See I was lucky because my gf is from a Car Family. Her grandfather was the one that started Corsa. (Those that are big corvette/gm fans will know. ) He sold the business when the recession hit.

Her dad owns a really nice trans am. Her mom dd's a G8 with a Corsa Exhaust.

She's definitely into cars. :P

I've been trying to get into hpde or any dang drift as of lately but lack of info on the web and MD not having any tracks less than 2hrs or 2 states away has really got me bummed.
