This is so awesome, love the out of the box stealth approach.

If this thing was easy to pull on and off and ref lash between turboed & stock with a Visconti tune it could be extremely fun to swap back and forth.

At any rate it's great to see folks trying new stuff.

I'd love to see a dyno pull and a vid.

Won't work. You're required to register out of state vehicles if you're a resident of the state, or even visiting for more then a few months.

in most cases states consider this registration fraud... and this is also mostly associated with auto insurance fraud.

its like if i lived in brooklyn NY... (the highest rated area in NY for car insurance premium) and then register my car in the Hamptons (suffolk county Long Island) and try to use my registration as proof of residence.. or when a VIN check is ran you will see the address in Hamptons which leads insurance companies to believe that i actually live there. Alot of people that live in NY... commit insurance fraud with addresses in Florida.. to register their car there so that they can get florida insurance. cracks me up when they get caught

but anyways.. i love turbos! lol i want that sound with the blow off valve in my car woooo and the speed niceee

how are you running the oil all the way to the back?
If I'm correct STS uses an oil pump.

Have you even read the first post in the thread?

He is using an oil-less turbo with grease packed bearings...

The lines running back to the turbo are coolant lines, not oil lines.

Just as an update. Have not done any dyno runs yet, no video yet either just busy with a lots of things is my only excuse. I did buy a STS license but it is not a STS system. I design and build all my own turbo kits. Lastly I have been driving it everyday, and everyday I grin from ear to ear. I don't care if the turbo is in the front, the back, under the hood, or behind the engine who cares, I just know I really love the acceleration that any turbo has to offer. What a blast.

What is your estimate of your 30-70 mph since the turbo install?
System looks great!

please explain...

I know STS takes the stand point that they invented the rear mount turbo...but I have mounted a turbo in the back of a car before....and I have no intention of giving them money for it...

what was the motivation behind buying a license from them?

what exactly is that in response to or are you just hating on this thread again?

please explain what it does mean

or are you talking about your Facial feminization surgery (sorry it was the most oft referenced usage of the acronym that was not offensive, and I'm sure you didn't mean offense.) :happy0180:
