I wouldn't have hit it.

I spent the majority of last summer getting my 944 sorted. A few days before h2oi an elderly man failed to yield at an intersection and clipped the front of my car. Not a good feeling. Hope your comprehensive/insurance works out for you, choose your words carefully with them, despite what they say they're not on your side. Try not to dwell on it like I have. None of us would have probably fared any better.

And if you don't have one, get a dash cam. It's cheap reassurance.

That reminds me, some asshat fell asleep at the wheel or something, on the opposite side of the 66 near the 66/50 exit where there's just a large grass median. Saw headlights from the opposite side go into the median grassy area (thought it was a cop busting a U to catch a speeder) but then I saw the lights fly into the air and car ended up stopping in the fastlane on my side. The car actually got a bit of partial airtime from the dip/ramp of the grassy area. The 530ix in front of me slammed on brakes and barely stopped in time, avoiding a t-bone collision. I was behind and saw everything.

Crazy VA drivers, and they say Cali drivers are bad, at least we don't do stupid things like change 4 lanes at a time. =P
Actually surveys consistently show DC area drivers as the worst because so many people are transplants. All the worst habits in one place.

Haha now those were funny. Bunta ftw.

It'll be a new bumper cover, current price before shipping is about a grand, lol. Plus paint and fitting of the dzus. I had the last undamaged Wise Square bumper in the country.

You've probably worked it out already, but i've come across this today. Supposed to remove rubber from paint.
