they don't want to but that is what needs to be done or they will do to you what they did to me and chase codes, swap hard parts before they just flash the ecu. Find the tsb, print it and bring it with you on your next CEL/Limp mode

If they refuse call corporate and open a case file while driving to another dealer that knows their ass from their elbow

good! I don't like that they went for the fuel pump. There was another member here that went through that at the same time I did and the dealer did not reinstall his right and his engine went up.
It's a simple flash at the least. They do not have to order you a new ecu unless the flash doesn't work.
I don't want anyone to go through the BS I had too so do not let them keep your car or they will chase codes.
Just find a dealer that will do the flash before replacing things.

So... my driver side switchback is not working and both DRLs, and my driver side low beam is darker than my passenger side (which is the correct brightness).

Anyone know what the issue is if it's not the lights themselves?

Bang on the alternator then start the car up

Check connections, see if anything is loose. Could be that the current is not flowing through them properly. If no help, revert lights to stock and check.

Am debating getting a Nexus 7/Tab 3 7". Want to use the OBD readers now that both cars will be OBD2. What're we all using, the blue OBD BT dongle and the Torque app? Anyone tried the seat bolt snake arm style mounts?

Leaning towards the tab 3 thanks to a big coupon. MicroSD and IR remote are kinda fancy for my needs. Don't need BALLER features since this is really just for the cars. Have the 5S, gaming rig, and laptop for house use.

Someone's going to show me all the fancy stuff you can do with an android tablet right? lol


Edit: FML. So not only is staples out of the Tab3 7.0s, they don't carry the 8.0's in stores. WTF? Craigslist it is :\

Went to microcenter who had the tab 3 8.0 for $50 off. Only carry the gaudy gold/brown. F that.

Best Buy matched the price, gave me white, and a $15 gift card. Booya.

plasty/vinyl could fix that color issue, but a price match is just as good I guess

Yup. It was baaaaaaaad. The tab 2's had a better scheme. It got gaudier on the 3 and bigger = more of it. Looked like it shoulda been on an overpriced purse. Plus $15 gift card is cool lol

Now to figure out android. :\

Ordered the bluetooth bit for the car too. Yaaaaaaay. Now to find a way to mount it.
