I like a stiff ride, with lots of engine/road noise and bolstered seats.

To expand on this, my Safari is proclaimed comfortable by the ladies in my life. Why? Well because the seats are super fluffy, and when i run over a pothole you barely notice. This to me, is not comfort. I don't feel comfortable in the van knowing that if i have to jerk the wheel or push the van in an emergency, the van will likely fail.

They complain that my Celica rides like a lumber-wagon and that you have to brace yourself when you see you're going to run over a nickel. But this is comfort to me-- a capable car. The seats murder your lumbar after 45minutes and the radio is useless over the other lovely noises the car makes. However, i know that the car is capable and that its limit is miles higher than the van's. I can stop on a dime, turn sharp, accelerate much faster, ect.

I dunno, i just kind of felt i needed to elaborate on the subjectivity i notice in "comfort." Perhaps i'm a strange person(?)

How is this "Comfort?" You must be a bondage man.

Well the comfort comes from knowing my car can handle what the road may throw at it. A comfy quiet seat with struts filled with hummus isn't what i feel comfortable with. I want to feel excited and being closer to the go-cart-lotus experience is better to me than the quiet Buick experience. Driving pleasure is comfort to me.

so really its not comfort, but piece of mind?

This was what I liked about my M3. It was very comfortable, but you could still feel the road. I have not had that experience in any other car yet.

Oh wow. I didn't think there would be any of those. I thought I'd be the worst going from Evo to FR-S.

The company Lotus car maker has introduced new concept at the 2010 Paris Auto Show, the concept named it’s Lotus Elise was joined by several other concept and car future 2015 year. The Lotus Elise due for release in 2015 is a sexy, agile beast of a car. Finally the Lotus Elise comes of age.
Lotus Elise Concept Powered is a 2-liter supercharged four-cylinder engine delivering 320 horsepower. It has a six-speed manual gearbox with an optional paddle-shifted automatic setup. Zero-to-sixty takes just 4.3 seconds.

“We worked very hard on getting the Elise 2015 exactly right, it’s our entry level car so it needs to give a proper introduction to the Lotus driving experience.” and “The Lotus Elise you can buy now is still a fantastic car, make no mistake, Lotus remain very proud of it, but this is a natural progression for us moving forward. The Elise 2015 will also be class-leading in terms of performance and efficiency but it will do more than that it will take the Lotus Elise model to the forefront of its class across the board.”said Dany Bahar, Chief Executive Officer of Group Lotus
Lotus Elise Available as a coupe and roadster (the Exige name will apparently be dropped), the new Elise features shark-inspired styling, floating taillights, and a variety of carbon fiber components. Furthermore, thanks to a longer extruded aluminum chassis, entry and egress should be vastly improved.

when I first saw the brz in person, I noticed how the crease and bulge of the rear quarter resembled the evora. how pictures do confirm that to a degree. I really like the subtle flow of the side of the car.

Those have all been axed since the management shakeup I think last year at Lotus. They're kind of in a limbo state right now and just riding off the Exige S V6 right now as far as I know. I believe the Esprit is still going to be made but the rest have been canned.

And man that Evora looks kind of high tech next to the FRS.
